World-renowned comedian and actor, Kevin Hart, dives into the metaverse through the release of a collection of NFTs based on an upcoming film production that is based on his life. The production, titled “Hart’s Confessions,” is a 30-minute 3D animated show that discusses the ups and downs of his career and will premiere on Roku on July 6.

The day after the release of his anthology, his media company Hartbeat will release 10,000 unique and exclusive NFTs, each featuring a PFP style of an eccentric alter-ego of Kevin Hart. These NFTs will be posted on Kevin Hart’s metaverse-centric website, called Kevin Hart Nation, and each NFT will cost $65 to mint.

Holders of the NFTs will also have exclusive perks including access to anthology-based content, exclusive access to a Discord channel, as well as members-only benefits for experiences IRL and in the metaverse of Kevin Hart and his team, and finally bonus content and tickets to Hart’s upcoming comedy tour.

As we can see, more and more creators and celebrities are starting to release NFT collections alongside their projects to give their fans the opportunity to almost become part of the project and have more perks to get closer to the personal and professional lives of celebrities.

Says Hart – “What I love doing most is making people laugh, and with the expansion of Hartbeat into the metaverse and Web3 we will have exponential opportunities to bring humor and comedy to a whole new audience. I am very proud of my team for their foresight and ingenuity. With this new technology we will be able to continue to expand our presence in the new technological frontiers of content creation.”
This new Roku Channel in addition to “Confessions From the Hart,” will launch much more exclusive content such as “Die Hart” along with “Cold as Balls,” “Exit Strategy,” “Straight from the Stag” and “Real Husbands of Hollywood.” The Roku Channel will arrive in the U.S. with a user base of 80 million people beginning in the fourth quarter of 2021.
